Nom De Guerre

The concept of the collective is to combine basic and diverse influences from art, fashion, and various New York City subcultures to create a composite culture and product.

Nom de Guerre opened October 2003, in downtown Manhattan on the corner of Broadway and Bleecker Street. Invisible to the average passer-by, the subterranean space is inspired by underground sites such as bunkers, tunnels, and archaeological digs, creating a sense of otherworldliness.

Nom de Guerre has the look of a high-end Army/Navy outpost with an emphasis on utilitarian basics; and since its inception, has been a destination for young New Yorkers who comprise the burgeoning art and music scene.
