Folk Clothing was born in London in 2001, the understated clothing collection was then joined by its sister shoes brand, Shofolk in 2004. Thanks to Cathal McAteer, the founder, who nurtured the brand through its early life, Folk has built up an ever increasing following and is found in the top Independent boutiques in the world. Both the Folk clothing and the Shofolk shoes are designed by the team, who share the same values and understanding of colour palettes, fabric selection and design details. The collections are inspired by ideas from all over the world, but predominantly by what is seen and heard in and around their London home.

Folk clothing is a collection of simple, wearable and good fun clothing with emphasis on shape, texture and subtle detailing, with real strength in its knitwear, laundered shirts and cotton chinos.
