Sperry Shoes
Sperry was born in 1935 when Paul Sperry gained inspiration from his dog running over the ice with amazing ease. He soon realised that the reason why the dog had so much traction, was due to the small cracks on the dogs paws. These wave like cracks became the inspiration for his latest patent, known as Razor-Siping, which he used to maximise the traction on his first pair od Sperry shoes. The Sperry Top sider brand was born, and still to this day continues to supply footwear to people who enjoy the ocean life.
